Tell the Story: Girl Called Wolf; told

Sarah lives with her mother and grandmother in their old house tucked away at the edge of the woods. She has been homeschooled her whole life and this year, she's going to public school. Sarah is excited and nervous about her first day. She finds out the hard way that doing homeschool is way easier than public school. The halls are like mazes, the noise is almost unbearable, and the workload is crazy!. but worst of all the other kids. right away the other kids notice that she is different and to another kid that's just to throw meatballs at you. The only relief of the day is when she goes into the woods, ever since her childhood her grandmother took her on walks in the forest, telling her about it and all that lives in the forest. to Sarah, it's like her second home. After a particularly bad day Sarah goes deep into the forest to a part she had never gone to before, there she meets this animal-like girl with a black stripe of hair who snarls and walks on all fours, and acts like a wolf. Sarah sees the deep hurt and loneliness in this girl's eyes, Sarah understands the girl in her pain and tries to befriend the girl who in her mind she calls Wolf. Every day after school Sarah goes to Wolf and gives her food, talks to her, reads to her. Wolf doesn't talk and at first, is warry of Sarah, but slowly she warms up to her. Sarah slowly spends more and more time away in the woods, her mother and grandmother are worried so one day her mother follows Sarah. Wolf gets spooked and runs off into the forest, Sarah didn't see Wolf for months after that. devastated that her only friend is gone Sarah almost gives up but then she learns that people had seen Wolf and taken her into therapy. Sarah is delighted and she begs her mom to let her go see Wolf, but when she sees Wolf huddling in a corner, scared Sarah feels crushed. When Wolf sees Sarah she runs over and speaks for the first time, pleading for Sarah to get her out of this place. Sarah promises to do so seeing how bad Wolf is in here. Sarah asks her mom for help and after seeing Wolf she agrees that they needed to get Wolf out of there, So they come up with a plan to formally adopt Wolf then let her back out into the forest. The problem was that Wolf couldn't be adopted because she was to 'wild' and wasn't 'suitable' for public 'situations' But really? Wolf was just a scarred, broken, lost girl that chose to act like a wolf instead of a human. As Sarah struggles with juggling her school, official loyer stuff, she has to watch as Wolf slowly deteriorates. Sarah has to prove Wolf is safe to the public and can be human. Sarah knows a little girl is still there, under all the snarl and scratches, she just has to find her and bring her out to show that Wolf is not a Wolf but a human, a girl.
The inspiration for The Girl Called Wolf came from a dream about a girl who acted, who thought she was a wolf and my sister's 'short' story: Unbending Love.
