I breathed in the heavy air of Fogbank forest, revelling in the quietness of the forest. I looked around and saw a girl, she was maybe 10, she was peaking out at me from behind one of the huge trees. She had huge golden-brown eyes the glinted in the low light of the forest, she wore a faded brown shirt and had a small crescent-shaped scar on her hand. Her hair came in tangled waves to her shoulders and her skin was pale. She shrank back when I saw her but did not run away, I blinked, I had thought to be the only one in this strange forest. The little girl blinked back at me then turned and faded into the forest. "wait!" I called and went after her but I did not find her, whoever she was, she did not want to be found.
