Tell the Story: Ink Wolf; Told

In this world, Evora, there are eight great creatures: Humans, Envorks, Kar-kees, Ink Wolves, Drazoni, Siremos, Famos, and Voungusies. Once, they were united under the Illnavu, a council made out of  one of each great creature. Once. When the eight great creatures were supposed to live in harmony and equality with one another, the Humans wanted more power. They considered themselves to be greater than the other great creatures and believed that they should have more power, land, and say.

The Kar-kees, Siremos, and the Voungusies wanted more power and land so they allied with the Humans. The Envorks, Drazoni, and the Famos were against this and war broke out. The Ink Wolves though, wouldn't take any side. They instead watched as their fellow great creatures tore up the land in their struggle in power.

Not all Ink Wolves thought they they should be neutral in the war. Some could be hired as assassins or spies. Eventually,  both sides considered Ink Wolves a danger. The Humans started a rumor that the Ink Wolves were not a great creature. They were just animals, nothing else. The Human's allies took this idea and used this to justify hunting and killing all Ink Wolves found.

The other side, resisted, still believing that the Ink Wolves were intelligent like themselves. The war was long and hard, and many innocent died. Finally, in a last stand, the Envorks, Drazoni, and the Famos triumphed over the Humans, Kar-kees, Siremos, and the Voungusies.

The Envorks, Drazoni, and the Famos stripped a good amount of land from the losing side and restricted what they could do in the Illnavu. For the Ink Wolves, they banished them from their land and the  Illnavu.

The Ink Wolves ran behind the Skehjiti Mountains to a no man's land where they reside to this day. Over the decades, Ink Wolves were believed to be either extinct, or simply just animals. The remaining Ink Wolves on this side of the Skehjiti Mountains are hunted and used as a sorse of ink or entertainment. Besides, they're just animals right?

Zinaara (ZIN-AH-A-RA) is the only Ink Wolf that can made colored ink. For this, she is shunned by her kind and hunted by the other six Great Creatures. Zinaara lives at the base of the Skejiti Mountains where hardly any animal comes.

She lives a lonely and dangerous life, her only friend being the small black bird that visits her once in a while. One day, while out further from her home than usual, she is found and chased by hunters. Zinaara makes a despite brake for it, but runs off a cliff into a fast flowing river.

Zinaara is saved by a Drazoni, who doesn't know she isn't an animal. The Drazoni takes Zinaara back to his home, which is in Fangox the capital city of the Drazoni. The Drazoni- Kerfime as she later finds out-  nurses Zinaara back to health and keeps her as a pet.

While Zinaara hates the thought of being a pet, she hides her intelligence in fear of what the Drazoni would do if they found out. Her heart longs for friendship, and Kerfime seems willing to give that. But if Zinaara shows her intelligance, would Kerfime accept her still?

As Zinaara wars with her heart and her head, a very different war threatens to break out. The tensions are rising between the great creatures and this time, if war happens, there will be no world left. Zinaara also seems to be in the very thick of this war. In some ironic twist, it seems that only the Ink Wolves can stop this war, but they're concidered animals and /or in exsile over the Skehjiti Mountians.

The responsibility of the whole world falls into Zinaara's paws. But how can one, timid, shunned Ink Wolf bring the entire population of Ink Wolves, not to mention all of the great creatures, together again?
