SecondHome
Ta-da! This is SecondHome in all its glory. SecondHome has huge and I mean huge trees with little undergrowth. Small rivers or streams wind their way around the trees, watering the various animals that live here. Birds of every color imaginable live in the branches of the trees, singing a choir-worthy song in the hour of dawn. Voloseraper-like creatures battle for mates under the great arches of roots, using their extra-sharp elbow feathers to stab both their adversaries and their preditors.
Fluffy ginie-pig creatures snuffle around in the short, springy grass that glide across the forest floor. Their squeaks and grunts are the undertones of the melody of the forest. Stones varying from bolder to pebble size dot the ground, some covered in ancient moss and others a clean rocky color.
Higher up in the branches is a city built of houses and bridges, gently swaying in the wayward breeze. SecondHomers traverse the web of ropes, houses, and bridges, selling, trading, and living their ash-free lives. It'll be many years until SecondHome's population expands enough for the people to start rebuilding their city on the planes of grass outside the great sentinels of the forest, but for now, they explore the heights and depths of their home, enjoying creation as God made it.
