A Fallen HomeKin cover test

This one's been on the back burner for a while. The previous covers I drew for A Fallen HomeKin weren't working, so I finally got to redo it. I quite like the outcome, though it's not fully satisfactory yet. Anyway, that aside. This month I've joined NanoWrimo's April camp thing for my second draft. Hopefully, by the end of this month I've got a book!

Here's the blurb for anyone interested:

❝He was a HomeKin, transplanted into a new world.❞ When the ever-skittish, homesick, twelve-year old Fralith accidentally-on-purpose stops a kidnapping, no one knows what to think — especially Fralith. Newly stranded on a planet not his own, where MetalEaters roar and people stand around staring at rectangles, Fralith struggles to puzzle out the nuances of the social code before he gets eaten — or poked to death by pesky WhiteCoats. Now placed in a home and given the daunting task of figuring out what is going on, Fralith tries to fit in with the very family he saved. He never wanted to be here and doesn’t know how to get home. But not all things in this new world are out to get him, and some are even trying to save him.
