Blank Slate: Open Novella Contest (ONC) Novella

 Whoo! A new story! This one is for a competition that challenges contestants to write an entire novella (20k-40k) in three months based on prompts they give. I couldn't resist trying it out, so here we go :D This is the current working blurb (which has not been edited yet):

“A blank slate is not necessarily a clean one.”

When Denison wakes up with no memory of who he is or what happened with only a cryptic note telling him he is Blank Slate, the number one super villain in the district, and he purposely wiped his own memory, he has only one option: find out what happened before the heroes find him.

When his only lead lands him as the number one lead to Blank Slate’s case, Denison has to walk a knife’s edge between his two identities. As he unravels his past and the heroes get dangerously close to the truth, two questions become painfully loud: Am I good? Should I let the heroes catch me?
